From 1 March 2022 and on, bachelor's theses must be submitted exclusively in electronic form (PDF format) to the supervisors via UNIGRAZonline.
The previously optional review of bachelor's theses with regard to good scientific practice will now also be carried out electronically in all cases. The supervisors are provided with a Docoloc report (compliance report with references from the Internet).
For the purpose of internal control, the submitted bachelor's theses will also be archived in future in a non-public electronic repository belonging to the University. This enables them to be compared with existing and future bachelor's theses.
A brief overview of the main changes concerning UNIGRAZonline:
- From 01.03.2022 and on, students must submit all newly registered bachelor's theses or those that have not yet been forwarded to the Department of Academic Affairs in UNIGRAZonline as a full text (PDF). This PDF will be subjected to a plagiarism check.
- From now on, supervisors are asked to register the bachelor's thesis in UNIGRAZonline well ahead of time, so that students can submit the thesis for assessment in UNIGRAZonline once they have completed it.
Instructions for bachelor's theses:
- Instructions BA for students (direct link) or help link via UNIGRAZonline application or UNIGRAZonline help page for students.
- Instructions BA for supervisors (direct link) or via service page "Instructions for UNIGRAZonline" in the intranet.
